What You’ll Do
Internships at Cisco Quantum Research provide an excellent opportunity to work on groundbreaking research in different areas of quantum information and to connect with a network of world-class research groups. As part of the team, you contribute to research projects on quantum computing and network, develop working prototypes of systems, and publish papers in conferences and journals.
Who You’ll Work With
Cisco Quantum Research, part of Emerging Technologies and Incubation (ET&I) Group, is passionate about identifying breakthrough emerging solutions that build new markets and businesses for Cisco. ET&I incubates these new opportunities in partnership with our business groups, partners and other startups. The team also continues progress through Cisco‡s significant work with standards bodies and manages research partnerships with leading-edge universities.
Who You Are
Our Requirements are:
PhD student in physics, computer science or a relevant field
Research experience in quantum communication/cryptography, quantum computing, or quantum photonics.
A strong research track record demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations
Proficient in one or many of the following languages (Python, C++, Java)
