As a Co-op/Intern, you will:
Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers
Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas.
Engineering interns in Grid Solutions experience technically challenging assignments in one of a variety of high priority teams, including product design, systems, component design (such as towers, machine head, power conversion), controls and operability, advanced technology and manufacturing, testing and validation, aerodynamics, performance, quality, services, cost-out, and more.
Perform design and analysis of product lines in areas such as instrument transformers and capacitors.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Students must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline as listed below from an ABET accredited university.
Applicable Majors: Mechanical Engineering,
Engineering. Other Engineering majors such as: Aero Engineering, Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other Energy related majors will be considered.
Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to develop and maintain good customer relationships
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Must be willing to work in geographical area specified by the business
Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
