Throughout the 12-week internship, students will work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business. We‡re looking for students pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree within a relevant or related field.

Potential Internships in this field included (but not limited to):   

Deep Learning Applications and Algorithms

Developing algorithms for deep learning, data analytics, machine learning, or scientific computing, and analyzing and improving performance of GPU implementations
Autonomous Vehicles

Developing and training state-of-the-art Deep Neural Networks for path generation
Collecting training datasets and real-time inference run-times using simulators/gyms as well as performing in-vehicle tests
Robotics

Playing a key role in helping us build the fundamental infrastructure and software platforms of our system by reviewing code and working at the very heart of the software system which will power every robot and application built with Isaac
Deep Learning Frameworks and Libraries

Contributing directly to software packages such as MXNet, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, integrating the latest cuDNN or CUDA features, performance tuning, and analysis
Developing core deep learning algorithms and maintaining build, test, and distribution infrastructure for deep learning frameworks on NVIDIA supported platforms
Machine Learning

Working to build and maintain the first generation MLaaS (ML as a Service) Platform including data ingestion, data indexing, data labeling, visualization, dashboards, data viewers
Providing capability to use and fine-tune the latest state-of-the-art Machine Learning and Deep Learning models depending on the use-cases
Applied Research
Developing and prototyping new deep learning algorithms and models for foundation model tuning or for neural machine translation
Contributing to open-source projects such as NVIDIA NeMo with the possibility of publishing your internship project results
Applied Research Areas could include: Deep Learning Theory and Applications to Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Graphics, Speech, Reinforcement Learning, or another relevant domains
What we need to see:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree within a relevant or related field
Depending on role, prior experience or knowledge requirements could include programming skills and technologies such as: C, C++, Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, TensorRT, Keras, Linux, ROS, Docker, OpenGL, CPU, GPU, FPGA, PERL, and/or Computer Vision

The hourly rate for our interns is $19 – $93. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
