At the Intel New Mexico campus we are upgrading the factories to provide the latest and most innovative products to the market. We are looking for a local Construction Project Management Intern to assist us with our Basebuild Project. This is an Intern position for a student willing to work part time in New Mexico starting Spring 2024 through Summer 2024. This internship will be onsite and relocation assistance will not be provided. As a Construction Project Management Intern your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Plan and deliver base build construction projects using multiple project delivery and compensation strategies; from project initiation through closeout, including the development and management of project scope, schedules, budgets, contracting and compensation strategies, EHS, quality program, project controls, and change management. Ensure that the project is at all times in compliance with Construction Management Practices and to Basebuild standard operating procedures. Projects include disciplines such as mechanical, process, electrical, architectural, IT, and I/C. Resource plan the project. Provide direction to the Basebuild project teams. Partner with Tool Install, CS Operations, and Factory to develop and manage an integrated plan that will achieve project objectives and commitments.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or a closely related field. 3+ months of experience in: Communicating with a large technical audience Leading a technical project teamInside this Business Group
