Job Description
Overview

Obtain the knowledge and know-how, through a Mentor/Mentee relationship with corporate personnel, to successfully be responsible for supporting the LenX department.

Responsibilities

Conducts special studies in conjunction with a project, analyzes data and makes recommendations based upon studies.
Assist with project assignments, research and analysis.
Provides information and assistance to Corporate departments.
Assist in preparation of project reports, progress summaries, statistical analysis, and related data.
Analyzes, generates and maintains records and other reference material necessary for departmental use.
Answers and makes phone calls, responds to program related questions and sends written material as appropriate.
Composes, types and prints reports, general letters, spreadsheets, e-mail, and memoranda from rough drafts or general instructions, involving the assembly of data from computer and paper file or record sources.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum High School or GED required
Working towards Bachelor‡s or Masters in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Technology or General Business preferred
Strong academic track record is preferred
Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Lennar Ventures Intern to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills
Must have strong verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills
Must demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments required
Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms
Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures
