THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
As an Analytics intern, you will develop and implement analytics skills by providing research into analytic capabilities, produce insights, and provide consultative services, and leverage our data and analytic expertise to extend the dynamic credit risk management and delegation capabilities.
WHAT YOU‡LL DO:
Participate in a one-week seminar style training of both business information and technical skills. The business courses provide exposure to key business areas at the company and the role of analytics in supporting them. The technical courses include SQL and R, as well as an introduction to working with technology and data platforms, including Redshift, Domino Data Lab, and Git/Bitbucket.
Join an Analytics team and work to complete a meaningful Data Science project over the duration of the summer under the guidance of a seasoned associate. Past project examples include: Developing a metric to aid in our mission to facilitate equitable and sustainable access to homeownership
Researching production model improvements through back-testing, text analysis, and data mining
Investigating techniques to identify anomalous data across metrics and within varying loan populations
Collaborating with fellow Analytics Interns on Data Science hackathons in areas including Geospatial Data, Logistic Regression Modeling, and Natural Language Processing.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Academic achievement (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above)
Rising senior enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (2024 graduation date)
Preferred Qualifications
Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Math and Statistics majors are preferred
Strong analytical background
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to contribute to a team atmosphere
Demonstrated research and problem-solving skills
Self-starter, strong business acumen, and results focused
Superior communication skills, both oral and written
Fluency and aptitude with technology applications
