The Headlines:

As a Technical Services Intern you will be part of our Early Talent Program. Our Early Talent Program is Molson Coors‡ undergraduate summer internship program, where students are exposed to the beverage industry, engaged in real-world problem-solving, and immersed in social and educational opportunities with other interns.  The internship is a full-time summer position from May 8 – August 11 (Canada interns) and May 31 – August 11 (U.S. interns).

Housing assistance is available to candidates who meet eligibility requirements. Applicants must be an undergraduate student (enrolled in undergraduate courses), during the summer internship, to participate in the Early Talent Program. Interns who successfully complete the Early Talent Program are considered for full-time positions within Molson Coors Beverage Company, upon graduation.

You will support the Technical Services team, which identifies, validates, and executes capital investments and provides operational improvement support for the Molson Coors network of breweries.  Technical Services areas of focus include Malting & Brewing, Packaging & Warehousing, Utilities, and Industrial Automation & Electrical

Responsibilities:

Support Capital Projects including:Business Case Development
Project Design
Vendor Scoping
Project Management/Coordination
Financial Tracking
Construction
Startup Activities
Potential Projects: New Packaging Line; Golden 150 Brewing Modernization; Brewing Control System; Other various modernization projects
Operational improvements through understanding current processes and performance metrics and identifying means to reduce time and materials used
The Other Qualifications:

You are pursuing a bachelor‡s degree in chemical, electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering
Creative problem-solving skills
High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Time Management/work prioritization skills
