Responsibilities
Lead at least one engineering related project
Manage and complete project phases and processes
Address internal and external customer needs and questions
Interact with multidisciplinary teams and organize production/development trialsas needed
Organize test data and prepare presentations, project summaries, reports, and analyses
Work with others to assist in the development and implementation of capital projects that will reduce costs and improve operating efficiency
Provide engineering support for new equipment upgrades and special projects in the Thermoforming Department
Assist Product Development with engineering support for new product lines
Convert PDF manufacturing prints into editable 2D and 3D models
Convert and combine single PDF’s into binder files for maintenance manuals
Look for improvements that can be made and implement them
Comply with all company Environmental Health and Safety and Department of Health requirements
Qualifications
Current enrollment in an engineering program, preferably at the junior/senior level.
Working knowledge of MS office and Windows. SW and Auto Cad knowledge preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Visual acuity of at least 20/50 distance (corrected or uncorrected) and a minimal near vision ability to read 10-12 point font at a distance of 12-18 inches.
